Harvesting Success: Empowering Local Producers & Organizations with a FREE Workshop Series

Mangilao – The Northern Guam Soil & Water Conservation District is pleased to announce the launch of "Harvesting Success” workshops, a free empowering series designed exclusively for local producers and organizations with funding provided by the Guam Department of Agriculture. The workshops aim to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to thrive in today's competitive market by fostering collaboration and sustainability within the agricultural community of Guam.


The "Harvesting Success" workshops are a comprehensive initiative that addresses the unique challenges and opportunities faced by local producers and organizations. Participants are encouraged to register early, as space is limited. They will gain valuable insights and practical strategies across various key areas through a series of 3 engaging trainings:


  • Raw Coping Power: 

A stress management training for Guahan-based farmers, ranchers, backyard gardeners, fisherman, and interested individuals in collaboration with Guam Behavioral Health & Wellness Center. 

Date & Time: June 29, 2024, 9AM - 1PM

Location: Magellan Ballroom, Hyatt Guam


  • Grow Your Business with Social Media: 

A beginner-friendly workshop on marketing strategies for Farmers & Local Producers to learn simple yet sustainable strategies on how to effectively get on social media to raise awareness, share your produce, and build your agricultural business.

Date & Time: July 10, 2024, 9AM - 11AM

Location: Magellan Ballroom, Hyatt Guam


  • Empowering Agriculture: 

A hands-on, 2 half day grant writing workshop for sustainable growth with Holly Rustick to gain the skills to effectively write grants for all your farm and project endeavors!

Date & Time: August 13-14, 2024, 9AM - 2PM (each day)

Location: Magellan Ballroom, Hyatt Guam
